Press
Original, independent, and ad free. Freerange Press is an online and print co-operative (operating since 2008) based in Aotearoa, Australia, and Atlantis. Freerange’s focus is on global issues of design, politics, art and life for an urbanized humanity.  We write on this website, we publish books and we create a journal called Freerange.

Journal
Freerange Journal is our flagship. Every six months we release a carefully edited and themed volume of prose and pictures, both online and in print. Each one investigates the beauty and complexity of the city.

Only 12 editions of Freerange Journal will be produced.

Books
We love the free flow of information and we love spreading good ideas in the largely free environment that the internet provides. But what can we say – we also love books. A book offers an extended space for authors to explain, investigate and develop ideas. Freerange publishes a choice selection of books.

People
Project Freerange is people. Mums, Dads, Sons, Daughters, Sisters, Brothers, Lovers, Sinners, Designers, Artists, Lawyers, Rockers, Hip Hoppers, Diplomats, Nation-builders, House-builders, Teachers, Singers, Logicians, Statisticians. We have over 100 contributors from 6 continents. All people. No robots, yet.
